The Rack Builder 1.1.1

The Rack Builder is a sophisticated design tool tailored for IT professionals, audio and video engineers, sound specialists, network architects, and telecom engineers. It facilitates the efficient planning of layouts for standard 19” server and IT equipment racks.

1. Name your rack, configure its height in U (rack units), and populate the 19" space with your selected devices.
2. Effortlessly create a library of devices, specifying titles, colors, and icons. Existing devices can be modified by swiping left to edit their properties.
3. Devices are modifiable; they can be deleted, edited, or repositioned within the rack until the design is finalized.
4. Export your layout seamlessly as an image or a CSV file for further use.

The application supports multiple rack designs simultaneously. Unlike other design tools that may burden users with an extensive symbol library, Rack Builder allows the selection of device icons from your personal device gallery. This feature enables the inclusion of bespoke symbols, manufacturer logos, or other suitable imagery.

Device colors can be categorized according to industry conventions—blue for audio equipment, green for video systems—or customized to align with corporate branding requirements.

It is important to note that the app focuses solely on the arrangement of rack layouts and does not depict connections between devices.
